RSC for April - Purple - Where Did the Month Go??

I have had these done for awhile.. but life gets in the way.. and so you know how it goes.....
The color for the month of April.. in case you haven't heard.. is Purple.  LOVE PURPLE!!!  So you would think I would have more to show.. alas.. no.
It has been a really busy couple of weeks.. and it will continue a few more, so I don't really have a lot to show.
But here are my purple hexies.....
But since we are talking about purple.. here are some of the fabrics I bought at Pennington Quilt Works when I went there for my birthday.  Did I mention they have a great sale room too?
Now.. what is this for??
They went into the washer (with a couple color catchers) ... which I never do.. unless....

I am making a baby quilt..

No, not for me silly..LOL...  but stay tuned.

Linking up at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge (RSC) at so So Scrappy.  Check out all the amazing purple projects this month!

Happy Stitching,

Deb

  11. The dotted interior of your washing machine would make a great dotted fabric too!

  12. Deb!! Pennington Quilt works?? One of my all time favorite places to shop! Every time dh and I go up to NY we MUST stop there for me to spend money. Then on to Princeton for a walk and some buffalo chicken pasta at Olives, then on toward upstate NY. It's our ritual!

  14. I love purple too. It is terrible to be so busy when the good colors come up. Hopefully you will find time to play later though. Love your fabrics.

  15. I've worked a fair bit with purple this month, but the main big quilt project is a secret, so I can't show it! Fantastic run of colours from Pennington QW. Love. I'm not really a purple girl, more blue, but deep royal purple, mmm! However I do so love medium purples with those chartreuse shades. Delicious.
